Set in the early 1980s, this series dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas’ Silicon Prairie.

The Penguins (Guitarer Mark Crimmins, Drummist Mike Heller, Basselope Pete Adamy, Vocalizer Marty Arnest) formed in the winter of 1985. A self-described "post-punk" band, Merv's recently released Lebeau album has topped the CollegeBand Album chart a whopping 17 times.

About Halt and Catch Fire

In the final season of AMC Studios' Halt and Catch Fire, the race is on to develop a new technology capable of searching the World Wide Web. VC partner Donna Emerson (Kerry Bishé) embarks on a bold new venture that puts her on a collision course with her ex-husband Gordon Clark (Scoot McNairy) and his long-time collaborator Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace).
